We fenced in our property nearly 4 years ago shortly after moving into our house in Westbury. North Shore fence at Hicks Nurseries did the job. We went with the brown pvc fence because it went with the trim on our house. They installed it and it looked great. Over a short period of time though it started to fade alot. Now, the sun does pound it for most of the afternoon but considering how much extra we paid at the time it seemed as if we were getting stuck with a bum fence. A few months ago I called North Shore fence and told them what was happening. They came over and inspected it, they reached out to the fence manufacturer who sent a rep out to inspect it. Then I didn't hear anything for a while so we figured nothing would come of it. Then I got a call yesterday from North Shore saying they would come and install an entirely new fence from the manufacturer ( with a new version of the painted brown pvc ), and could they do it today. Well.they were at my house a good portion of the day and replaced the whole thing ( free ). Sometimes it pays to ask and you might receive.
