Why do we recommend lawn aerations? The goal of aerating your lawn is to get more oxygen, water and nutrients into the root zone. Improving the aeration in the soil is extremely beneficial to lawns that are growing in clay or compacted soils. BioGreen products are designed to infuse more O2 into the root zone via key nutrients and weak acids. This same principal works to release some of the soil's Humus into humic acids as well. This method is a microscopic alkali extractive technique that removes salts and creates bonds that are oxygen centric.
This is the thick area, sometimes described as spongy top layer, of ground cover right below the grass layer from your lawn. As a general rule of thumb, up to 1/2 inch of thatch is good for your lawn. This is especially true during times of drought, water restrictions, and high heat, when it can act like insulation for the soil by providing a screen from sun light and help to hold in moisture. Thatch that accumulates in excess of 1/2 inch can actually work as a disadvantage to your lawn by creating too much buffer between the soil and the grass, preventing sufficient amounts of water, air, and nutrients (fertilizer) to reach the soil.
This means that we will use the least amount of herbicides to ensure your lawn is weed free but also minimizing the amount of herbicide put into the environment. You will notice that over the course of the year your lawn will become thicker with our fertilizer which will help make it harder for any weed to germinate. Weed control is used onan "as needed bases" only every application. Let's face it, from time to time an unwelcome visitor camps out in your yard. Bio Green has the tools and the expert advice to get your lawn and landscape weed and pest free.
Beyond service, our approach to treating your lawn care or trees and shrubs is focused on using a Bio Green USA product. This is an all-natural, bio-based fertilizer product. We use a more conventional or hybrid approach to controlling weeds. We select products that will use a "Least Toxic Pesticide BMP (Best Management Practice)." This means that least toxic chemical options are utilized and no unnecessary chemicals are applied or used where they are not needed. When you request a quote from us, we quickly provide a summary of our business and online pricing for the size of your treated lawn.
