Menehune Pest Management (PCO 1397) is proud to present our sister company, Menehune Pest Management Fumigation Services (MPMFS - PCO 1566). Although it is a brand new Hawaii owned and operated entity, our owners, office staff and fumigators have decades of experience and embrace the various conditions of tent fumigation to ensure your property is treated as our own, whether residential or commercial. The tropical weather here in Hawaii make our paradise susceptible to Drywood termites. Fumigation is the process to 100% effectively eradicate this problem when performed properly.
Bed bugs feed nearly everywhere. They THRIVE in your home, hospitals, college dorms, offices, schools, buses, cars, movie theaters, etc. They can live for several months without a blood meal, meaning they can linger in your furniture, bags and suitcases for a long time. This means they can travel with you just about everywhere you go. Bed bugs popular hiding places are behind baseboards, cracks and crevices and folded areas of beds and box springs, electrical wall plates, picture frames and wallpaper.
State of Hawaii law requires the termite inspector to properly, visually inspect your property. The inspector will identify hollow areas, observe visible signs of activity in all accessible areas. Inaccessible areas, such as locked rooms, within walls, behind appliances, under carpets etc. are reported on the State of Hawaii Termite Inspection Report. We kindly ask that the property seller or agent of the seller ensure all areas of the property are accessible and/or unlocked to the best of their ability.
The typical mouse you find in your home has an excellent sense of hearing, touch, smell, and taste. They are good climbers, swimmers, runners, jumpers, and are capable of invading nearly any structure they wish just after the first cold snap (September, October), through holes as small as a dime. Once inside the home, mice seek out warm areas such as under stoves, ovens, dishwashers and fiberglass attic insulation. Mice constantly chew, damaging automobile wiring and creating fire hazards in electrical wiring, as they nest and play in attics where they leave droppings and tunnel thousands of permanent holes in fiberglass insulated attics, reducing the 'R-value' of the insulation by as much as 50%, after several years and several infestations.
