Berry Mechanical Services, Inc. began as a local HVAC company back in the year 2000. Three professionals in the industry, Allan, Bill, and Scott with a combined experience in the HVAC field of 42 years at that time, decided to strike out and create their own HVAC company that would mirror the values they held dear to their heart: premium quality installation, honest business practices, front line product knowledge and innovation, and most importantly customer satisfaction. After humble beginnings with two trucks based out of Allan's garage, the company grew quickly through the early 2000's moving to offices based in Haverhill, MA and specializing in ducted HVAC system design, installation, and service.
Besides the utilization of heating and air conditioning systems to bring us indoor comfort year round, there are simple to sophisticated systems that address indoor air quality. With current building codes requiring ever tighter construction for the sake of building efficiency, we are finding that indoor pollutants become trapped requiring remediation. With older existing homes we find increased amounts of airborne particulates from simple dust molecules to mold spores. Today's marketplace has an incredible array of products available to correct these indoor air quality issues and we here at Berry Mechanical Services Inc are focused on the most effective ones to meet your indoor air quality needs.
Keeping your home comfortable year round is the number one priority of Berry Mechanical Services. Ask yourself if you have had enough of the hazy, hot and humid weather conditions that we New Englanders suffer with every summer. Whether you think you suffered for a total of four weeks or almost the whole summer, Central Air Conditioning will only become more and more of a necessity as our world grows warmer. One of the challenges when considering a central air conditioning system is to strike a balance between the level of efficiency and the size of the investment in the system.
One of the most important appliances that any homeowner living in New England has within their home is a central heating system. Your current heating system works tirelessly for many hours on end every fall, winter, and spring trying to keep your home at a constant comfortable temperature. Usually a heating unit is checked and serviced only once a year and yet all that time it is expected to do its job flawlessly. Add to this the challenge of providing ever increasing efficiency due to rising utility costs and the desire to go "green" and you end up placing very high expectations on your most valuable appliance.
Berry Mechanical offers 24-hour, 7 day a week service for all of OUR customers. Please contact us at one of the numbers listed below if you need assistance. After hours you will hear from the technician who is on call. After hours service is at a premium rate of time and a half, which is currently $187.50 to come out and diagnose your system. Once the issue is diagnosed the technician will quote you his findings for repair. You can maximize the life of your new or existing HVAC system by performing seasonal preventative maintenance check-ups.
There are numerous mail-in rebate incentives available from many larger utility providers for both heating & cooling home improvements. Even some smaller municipal utility companies provide limited high efficiency incentives. We have provided a summary of the major utility company rebate programs below. These tables show the efficiency requirements needed to be awarded a rebate. We start with conventional air conditioners & heat pumps followed by mini-split heat pumps & ending with heating & hot water systems.
