When we started the design process for the kitchen in our new build, we went to a big box store. After a few meetings and a very confusing quote with mysterious upcharges, we decided to start over with a smaller local company. Reviews led us to Gulf View Cabinets and it has been a great experience. From the first design meeting to the final installation, everything went well. While we had a general design in mind, Joe had many ideas that elevated everything to a new level. The design is beautiful, and the cabinet placement created an abundant amount of storage. Joe even came up with a plan to adjust our framing to accommodate a full-size refrigerator even though the original plan from the contractor was for a counter depth one. After meeting for hours with "designers" at the big box stores, my husband and I were very disappointed with the results. Joe and Gulf View Cabinets were recommended by several neighbors. We met with Joe and were delighted. Joe is very knowledgeable and his designs show it. We were thrilled with the plans that Joe designed. Joe gave us a proposed schedule for the completion of the work. Everything went like clockwork and all aspects of the work were done with superior workmanship. Joe worked with us to plan and design our custom cabinets, our new sink and our quartz countertops. In this age of technology, it was truly awe-inspiring to see Joe hand-draft our kitchen most accurately and efficiently! Both he and Veronica, and the team they have around them-from cabinet installers, to stone cutters, to the counter guys-have all been very pleasant to work with and have all done an excellent job of helping make an otherwise daunting and stressful time, as stress-free as possible. The end result is an absolutely beautiful kitchen (with new pantry, soft-close drawers, gorgeous quartz counters, etc). I will be sad to sell this home, but will be happy when I get to work with them again for our next home!
