We are a Texas-based commercial general contractor and construction manager with over 1,000 employees, 400 of whom are craft construction workers. Our in-house resources allow us to serve all your commercial construction projects, no matter the size. Our company philosophy is based on the key principle of respect that permeates all levels of our business operations as one of the largest construction companies in Texas.

At Vaughn Construction, preconstruction is way more than a cost estimate. We develop a detailed plan to tackle all the building complexities before we ever put a shovel in the ground. This detailed approach to construction management ensures construction goes smoothly. Architects are great at using 3D design to show you how a project will look. At Vaughn Construction, we use 3D models to help our construction team visualize how to build the project. Not every construction worker can look at a set of drawings and envision how to build the project.

Always keeping the client's best interest in mind is exactly what our founder, Joe Vaughn (pictured right), believed when he started Vaughn Construction. Joe began working in construction at the age of 13, in the footsteps of his father William T. Vaughn (pictured left), a well-respected construction superintendent in Houston, and his grandfather, William W. Vaughn, a carpenter and mason. Joe saw first-hand the respect his father had gained with this philosophy. Through his early years, he focused on solving problems and meeting his clients' needs with a keen sense of ownership and attention to detail.
