Art of Building is a Berkeley, California-based company of architects, designers, and builders serving the greater San Francisco Bay area and beyond. Founded in 1999 by U.C. Berkeley graduates Saul Pichardo and Katalin Bende. The pair, both proteges of world renowned Christopher Alexander, use an integrated design and build process along with a unique visioning method to create residential and commercial projects that have a comforting and timeless quality. Art of Building's work is national in scope.
