In 1982, Backflow Prevention Specialists, Inc. (BPS) was started by Charles (Charlie) Bennett and his wife Carol Bennett. Charlie was one of the first backflow assembly testers to ever be certified by the California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association (CA-NV AWWA). His dedication to his profession and his passion for helping clients was unsurpassed. He empathized, educated, and worked with his clients, striving to be an invaluable resource to them. When Charlie and Carol's son Benjamin (Ben) was only 14 years old, Charlie began to bring Ben out into the field with him.
