Working with Shawmut was exceptional for many reasons. The people were here for us 24/7, and the communication that they drove with our architects and stakeholders at The Museum of Modern Art really brought the project to a beautiful finish.
But it's what's inside those offices-the people (we're a lot of fun to work with!), the passion, and the performances that have made most of our construction management clients repeat clients. The Project Manager and Superintendent embraced our Company's goals & objectives as if they were their own. The loyalty and commitment was equal to that of our own employees.
Over 60 volunteers from our Boston office contributed 300 hours of their time to prepare and deliver meals to the critically ill and their families. Sore muscles, rain, and a case of hypothermia were all part of this year's race, but nothing could stop 15 Shawmut riders and 13 volunteers from raising $125,971 and awareness for the fight against cancer. Shawmut volunteers help with the continuous efforts to rebuild NYC neighborhoods affected by Hurricane Sandy. Along with facilitating resume workshops and offering career coaching to students enrolled in Summer Search, Shawmut hosted four college interns this past summer in our Boston and New York offices.
