Our past satisfied clients include owners of custom homes, restaurants, schools, office/warehouses, church buildings, and tenant improvements. As our clients have successfully grown, we have followed their paths to provide all phases of construction to meet their needs. What often starts as remodeling of their homes lead to new custom homes and new buildings for their businesses or organizations. The key to our success rests mostly on the subcontractors and their highly qualified personnel. Their professional workmanship and conscientious attitude creates a positive work environment.
Our family tradition of carpentry and building lineage began with the first generation of "Nordic Builders" in Norway back in 1840. From fathers to sons, our storied tradition and carpentry skills have literally been taught continuously from generation to generation for over 177 years. The first American presence - and third generation of builders - occurred with Halgrim Odegard emigrating from Norway in 1921. After building barns on farms in Minnesota, he moved to Chicago and continued his general contracting and carpentry business until 1968.
