Almanor Fishing Report September 8, 2019 What a difference a week makes. Not so much with the fishing, more so with the weather. We are predicted to see morning lows in the high 30's this week, our high on Tuesday will be 61 degrees with a 50% chance of rain. Fall is certainly in the air. We have seen a slight drop in water temps over the past few days and boat traffic has been light during the week. Fishermen are targeting fish on anchor, fast & slow trolling and bank fishing all to mixed.
Almanor Fishing Report August 11, 2019 Lake level remains unseasonably high and water temps are approaching the 80 degree mark. Over the past few days we have experienced a cooling trend with afternoon showers accompanied by a little thunder, lightning and high winds.
