Our founder, Kermit B. Schulz, Sr. started the company as a small, two-person operation in 1946. Since that time, KBS has grown to be one of the premier HVAC contractors in eastern Massachusetts. From a small two-man operation based in South Natick in 1946, the company grew in reputation quickly, and moved to Dedham in 1948. As the team and reputation grew, so did the business, which incorporated in 1984, and moved to a new larger shop on Union Street in Millis. A full HVAC Service Departement was added, as well as work in both plan/spec and design/build commercial projects.
