After a very humid summer, my heat would not turn on during the first cold day of fall. I called Central Heating & A/C and Pete showed up was able to get my furnace going in about 15 minutes. Pete explained to me that the humidity from the summer had caused the exhaust blower fan of my furnace to stick. He got it spinning again and it fixed the problem. He explained to me that if this happened again I might want to consider replacing the blower fan. This was several years ago and I have not had any trouble since. Thank you for your quick and honest repair.
Friday night I got a call from Mother-in-law that we have ice hanging out of the faucets and the house is cold. She had been taking care of the cats while we were out. I was able to get a hold of Pete from Central Heating and Cooling from Pekin within minutes. He came out that night. Shut off the water and got the furnace back on. He came out the next day and found 3 leaks from frozen lines and made a plan for fixing them. When the weather turned crappy for you guys on Monday ( and we were still in Florida), Central Heating staff came out and met with our Insurance guy from Grinnell (Who are being great about this) to get repairs rolling. When we came home today, They were just finishing up and we are back up and running. They had even plowed our drive! Very pleased! I highly recommend them!
