Our firm is one of Illinois oldest firms, being founded in 1919, and incorporated in 1937. In 1982, Nelson purchased Carlson Park Mechanical and formed the operating piping division known as Nelson Carlson Mechanical. In 1997, Nelson Piping further expanded its base to re-enter the fire protection field. This division is now known as Nelson Fire Protection. This division does all types of piping and fabrication work. It has CAD capability in house and a fully staffed service department to maintain and repair all of your mechanical needs.
