Starting in 1994 I came into the garage door industry in probably the best circumstance a 17yr old could. I was the crewman for the owner of what would later become one of our areas largest most well respected residential door companies. We were a small company at the time and there was only 2 service trucks. I was taught first hand how each and every aspect of ANY job mattered so very much. Things like, pre-drilling every hole so that the wood lag doesn't split the wood and cause the track, spring mount, motor operator or any attached part from falling and down damaging the door or worse yet injuring somebody.
