Your heating system plays a big role in how large your monthly heating costs will be in your home. Because of this, it is essential for homeowners to consider having quality, energy efficient furnace installation done. When it comes to quality heating and air conditioning services, choosing a service provider who is experienced in all aspects of furnace services such as repairs, replacements, maintenance, and new installations is important. At Fred's Home Services, we take pride in our services from the initial contact point straight through to your completed installation.
We take great pride in our Cleveland furnace, heating pump, and air conditioner installations from the selling process all the way through final completion. We provide a no-cost comfort analysis of your home to ensure that you are going to receive exactly the right solution to your home comfort needs. Unlike some of our competitors, we will not quote replacement of your current system over the phone. We can give you a range of potential prices but not a firm price. We tried this several years ago as people were calling for an estimate and we found that when we arrived at the home to perform the work that the customer would ultimately be disappointed with the finished results due to oversized or undersized equipment as well as ineffective ductwork or other issues that would cause the homeowner to not receive the desired results.
Continually maintaining your furnace, condenser, evaporator coil, air filters, and other HVAC equipment is the best way to help provide years of worry-free operation and a healthy living environment for your family. As a simple example, dirty filters can decrease the effectiveness of your air conditioning system to the point that the system will not cool as it should. We offer yearly maintenance plans that will provide an inspection of the entire heating and air conditioning system. We typically split this maintenance into one sometime in the fall for the furnace and one in the springtime or early summer for the air conditioner.
Thank you for choosing Fred's Home Services. We are proud to recommend our partners at Geisel for all of your plumbing service and replacement needs.

Arzel's zoning control systems allow for customizable heating and cooling solutions for each room in your home, allowing for maximum comfort, and peace of mind. Heating and cooling are the most basic comfort needs of every household. At Fred's, we specialize in keeping you comfortable and don't rest until you are. We service all brands and have been Cleveland's premier heating and cooling experts since 1982.
Energy consumption and costs are on the minds of many these days for one reason or another. Whether we are trying to soften our carbon footprint or lighten our household expenses, for most of us, we are looking to hold off on turning on the "A/C" until absolutely necessary. For some of us, this comes sooner than for others. Such things as seasonal allergies, asthma, and other respiratory conditions call for an earlier use of our air conditioning systems. Our personal energy efficiency can be achieved in a few different ways.
Boilers provide heat via boiling water and then dispensing it throughout your home through various radiators or baseboard heaters. Generally fueled by gas or oil. A Furnace creates heat via coils instead of using water. A motorized blower allows the air to flow over the coils and to flow through your ductwork. Propane, natural gas, and electricity can all be used as a power source. Alternative furnace options include oil, geothermal and solar -powered. A Heat Pump, using electricity, moves (pumps) the air throughout the home via the duct work, instead of actually generating it.
First snow of the year and of course the heat goes out. Called Fred's Thursday at 9pm and they were out Friday morning. Our technician, Mike, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He had our heat up and running in an hour! Excellent service from the crew at Fred's! Highly recommend!
