Each thorough dryer vent cleaning is accomplished from the dryer to the dryer exhaust vent cap, with a rotating brush. As an example of one of our commercial jobs, we removed a lot of lint from the dryer vent duct of this Jacksonville Spa. Lint is little, short, fine fibers of fabric that separate from laundry during a dryer's drying cycle. Because the lint is moist, it collects in the exhaust path of clothes dryers and in vent ducting each time the dryer is used. The collected lint increases the time it takes to dry items, and decreases the efficiency of the dryer.
We clean and repair dryer vents in homes, condos and businesses within a 50 mile radius of downtown Jacksonville, Florida. We clean each dryer vent thoroughly from the dryer end to the duct termination cap, using a rotating brush to remove lint that clings to the internal walls of the dryer vent duct. Some companies just blow air through the dryer vent duct to remove some of the lint. Not us! We use the recognized best method in the dryer vent cleaning industry - the rotating brush. Sometimes we realize a situation presents us with an opportunity to help other people, and we just need to take the initiative to make it happen. That opportunity may become community involvement. For one example, because we remove lint from residential and commercial dryer vents, we accumulate a lot of lint. That way the lint serves a good purpose and we are helping our youth groups. We also donate the scrap metal ductwork, clamps, and other metal components to a local fellow who recycles the metal.
