I made an appointment to have my dryer vents cleaned - a requirement for my condo association. They scheduled me between 3-5 on Friday, the day I was supposed to send a receipt to the association or get fined for not having it done. At 4:45 they called and said there was "a problem with the truck" and they'd have to re-schedule. They gave me a new appointment for today between 9-11. I asked the woman on the phone if they would send me an email stating the reason for re-scheduling that I could forward to the condo association to avoid being fined. She said she would, but that never happened. Not a huge deal because I then realized I actually had until today to send the receipt. Waited around this morning until 11 and they never showed. When I called I got some new excuse about the previous customer having a "disconnected dryer" or something like that and was told they'd be here between 12-1. I told her I needed to leave for work at 1 and was told they would be here before then. They were not here by 12:55. I called back again and after being put on hold for 5 minutes was informed they were just pulling in. Yes they were, but it's going to take them 20-25 minutes and I'm going to be late for work. I would have told them to get lost at this point but I need to get this done today or be fined. Never again.
