I started off carpet cleaning as a employee in the apartment maintenance field. My boss called me in one day and said "Hey Randy, we are going to start cleaning carpets in house." I laughed and said "Great good luck with that!" and started to leave. He then said "Well what I meant to say was you are going to start cleaning carpet!" ​ said " No way I am a maintenance man not a carpet cleaner" Remember I have never seen anything but apartment cleaners and this was in 1985. They were never on time.
