In addition to its labor-relations and educational functions, the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) represents more than 425 organized electrical and telecommunications contractors for government relations purposes. Every year, elected officials in Trenton pass laws impacting the construction industry, its employers and tradespersons as well as construction users and New Jersey taxpayers. Accordingly, the Chapter and its political arm, ElectricPAC, seek to promote a legislative and regulatory agenda including sensible policies designed to build an efficient and safe construction industry that provides outstanding value to construction owners in both the public and private sector.
The Northern New Jersey Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association is pleased to introduce Princeton Public Affairs Group (PPAG) as NECA's new Government Affairs Consultant. PPAG will advocate on behalf of the Association and the represent interests of the union electrical construction industry at the state level. In conjunction with Dale J. Florio, Kevin Hagan, and Christina Zuk of PPAG, NECA hopes to bring a wealth of public affairs experience to the service of our members. Ranked as New Jersey's Number One Lobbying Firm for the last twelve years in a row, PPAG's expertise and winning political advocacy approach will be a great asset to the Association.
