Control Power Services was founded in 2015 by Derek Ross with the help of an investor who was involved in the electrical industry. After many years of working as a service technician for manufacturers such as Akiyama and Mitsubishi and other Independent Electrical Contractors serving the Southern California region, he determined it was time to start his own business. With hard work and dedication as a backbone, his main desire was to offer the personalized service that he felt was lacking in the industry.
