We had a very good experience with Main St Movers. They were the only company we contacted that was willing to store our goods on the truck for ten nights to avoid the hassle and expense of moving our goods into storage. We had a last minute issue with our closing and needed to extend another day and they were able to accommodate. The crew was professional and took great care of our belongings. Overall very satisfied.

We were super impressed with Main Street Movers! We were moving locally in Maplewood, NJ, with both houses having tight staircases and multiple levels. The movers were friendly and extremely careful with everything. They carefully disassembled and reassembled large items, making sure everything was finished before they left. Nothing lost, nothing broken. Unlike other moving companies I have dealt with in the past, they didn't tack on any additional hidden charges, and our final bill was within the price quoted to us. Moving is so stressful and this crew made it a lot easier for us.

Best moving company we have ever worked with. Not only were they flexible and accommodating to our home closing date changing which was a major stressor for us but, the actual moving team on the day of was professional, fast and took great care with our stuff. We will definitely use Main Street Movers again.

I've moved too many times in life all over the country and have had hit and miss experiences with movers. This company sets the standard. I also don't write many reviews, but since I've stressed too many times about about whether a moving company is actually legit, I'm here to assure you this company is. Another company we called barely asked any questions and then gave us a quote which was a red flag. Nicole did a comprehensive estimate over zoom, so there were no surprises. We moved from Hoboken to Maplewood during COVID. The movers all wore masks and were professional, quick, courteous and nice. They even quickly fixed a previously broken leg on a dresser. Karen was very helpful and quickly answered any questions/concerns we had. It's clear from top to bottom that Main Street takes pride in what they do, and isn't trying to screw people. I hope I don't have to move again, but at least I now have my moving company.

They are professional, courteous and trustworthy. I have recommended them to many clients for long and short moves and have only heard positive feedback. Main Street Movers helped move two apartments in NYC back to my home and they took such great care of the items. A five story walk up for one and an elevator building with lots of rules for the other. They handled both easily. My "go to" mover!

Our experience with Main Street Movers was outstanding!! 5 star rating for sure! In the office, Alex and Michelle, were very helpful. They kept in touch up until the day before our move. Our movers, Bruno and his team, were phenomenal. They were on time, fast, efficient, took great care of our belongings, and were very friendly. Thank you!! Definitely recommend Main Street Movers.

Main Street movers were terrific. They may not be the cheapest but there are no hidden costs and my final bill was less than expected. They booked me on short notice and kept in touch before moving day to be sure they would bring what I needed. The crew arrived on time, were prepared, professional, courteous and careful, and even helped me problem solve when my couch would not fit in the stairway. The company followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Main Street Movers.

As a local realtor, I crossed paths with Main Street Movers professionally but not personally. I just had that opportunity when they assisted in moving heavy items for me at my home. They were terrific. The admin staff was a pleasure to work with, very responsive. Their crew showed up on time, were clearly knowledgeable about how to handle heavier pieces and were efficient and clean. I will continue to refer them to my clients and call upon them for a personal move!
