My name is Eric Hedges- Proud Founder and Owner of Hedges Home Improvements, LLC. in Galion, Ohio. We are family owned and operated contracting business with years of experience. My lovely wife Jennifer and I are blessed with 3 beautiful children: Breanna who is our oldest at 19, Carson is 8 and Andrew is 6. Nothing better than being a father and husband. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family, Exercising, attending church, hanging out with our friends, or watching my Cincinnati Bengals or Cincinnati Reds.

One of the most important rooms in the house if not the most important is remodeling of your bathroom. We have done many types of bathroom remodels in Galion. We have found that with 75% of customers, they prefer themselves picking out all there items; Toilet, Flooring, Vanity, Shower, Mirror, Sink and so on. We have a masonry contractor that is very well trusted and reliable and gives us very reasonable prices for his masonry work. We have built quite the relationship with him. More than his reasonable prices he does A+ quality work on footers, foundations, concrete slabs, sidewalks, retaining walls and so on. He gets the job done right and in a very timely manner. Probably the most difficult decision to make when building a deck is what type of decking to use. All three choices-5/4 x 6-in. But alas, there's no perfect choice. All have tradeoffs. Figure out what characteristics are most important to you, then make your selection based on that. Composite is the most expensive but no doubt worth the cost if you want it to last a lifetime with zero maintenance. If the natural look of wood is tops on your list, use cedar. The heartwood of the tree (the deeper colored red part, not the white sap part) is rot resistant.

In the pre-construction phase, we work with you to develop an operational agreement to provide a clear understanding of all the activities involved in the project. I have trusted subs for my concrete and drywall work. We talk about the payment plan, go over contract with you, supply our proof of insurance and we both sign contract. During construction, If we have a subcontractor on job we deal with all the subcontractors for you: We track all the insurance and payments, we monitor the schedule to keep all project activities on target.

This customer hired a contractor with NO signed contract or even a contact phone # for the contractor to side his garage. That was the first no no, The 2nd was when he paid the contractor 90% of the total job before job was completed. He found me on Home advisor, called me, we gave him good price to side his garage for him. He was so happy and relieved once we completed this for him.
