Baker Construction offers full service construction by having in-house sub-contractors for excavating, insulating, plumbing, heating, trim carpentry, and building each home. Baker Construction is a hands on company. We can completely build a new home in approximately 90 days. Having so many in house sub-contractors allows us to have more control over how the homeowners dollars are spent. By assuring better buying power for each of our sub-contractors we can pass better prices on to our homeowners.
Baker Construction made its debut in the early seventies under the ownership of Dan Baker. Dan learned the construction business from his father, who was a master craftsman specializing in top-quality framing, as well as fine cabinetry. In addition, Dan was a construction manager for Abbot Construction in Adrian, before opening Baker Construction in 1971. Since then, this family business has developed into a prosperous, competitive and ever-changing company whose goals are to provide personal service and a quality product to our customers.
