Owner Troy Hull started painting houses in Farmington, Maine during the summer of 1997 - 2001 while attending Vassar College. After graduating, Troy moved to Portland, Maine, and worked as an independent contractor doing mostly painting, siding and roofing. After gaining a few years of experience ensuring customer satisfaction and mastering these trades, he returned to his home area of Farmington and incorporated Aurora Contracting with the following mission in mind: To provide enduring excellence in workmanship and customer relations by cultivating a team of loyal, talented, and reliable employees who are proud of their role in the community.
