Benicia Home Improvement Center (BHIC) recently completed a fairly extensive remodel of two bathrooms and a laundry room. The quality of the work performed was excellent. The workers who performed the work were both very skilled and also very nice and accommodating of us as the project progressed. We were especially impressed by the company's ready agreement to return after the project was finished to re-do without any hesitation one cabinet area which we were not happy with, and to address a couple of plumbing issues which needed attention. We did have one fairly minor issue which we have talked with Jeff, the owner, about. There were times when the communication from BHIC to us about next steps and the project's timetable was not what we would expect. When we called, we always got the information we needed, but we would have preferred more pro-active communication. In any case, we have no regrets about contracting with BHIC and we highly recommend them for any home projects. The quality of the work cannot be beat, and the pricing is very reasonable.
We can't say enough good things about BHIC and everything they did for us! We bought our first foreclosure in Benicia and from our first meeting with Jeff at the house inspection we knew we were in good hands. His and Darrell's vision, along with ours, was right on target and we got the exact home we wanted - and more! They were highly professional, quick to respond to any questions and finished the project in record time. The quality of their work and products exceeded any other contractors we had worked with in the past. Their attention to detail is amazing and should we ever remodel again, we would not hesitate to contact them in a heartbeat.
