DiFabion was the only company I contacted about this project because I knew they were all we would need to get the job done. Michael DiFabion and the design team worked for weeks coming up with design possibilities for our new space. They were always. Every aspect of our experience with DiFabion far exceeded all of our expectations, from their communication with us, to their respect for our home, to our lead carpenter Doug, to the design team helping us choose materials that kept us on budget not to mention.
Our mission at DiFabion Remodeling is to deliver an exceptional remodeling experience built on Trust, Vision, Pride, and Family, with the goal of exceeding our clients' expectations in every way. From there, we look to provide thoughtful design and creative insight to help make your vision become a reality. The bathroom may be one of the smaller rooms in your home, but it's also among the most important. After all, this is where you get ready for the day and wind down before bed. The kitchen is the most important room in your home. It's where you prepare and eat meals, entertain guests, and bond as a family. Without a practical layout, functional appliances, and plenty of counter and storage space, you may feel frustrated rather than content with spending time in the kitchen. Whether you're anticipating an upcoming family gathering or you're simply fed up with your inadequate kitchen design, DiFabion Remodeling is here to help. We have built our reputation on putting your family's needs first.
DeFabion Remodeling transformed our old two-story wood deck into a beautiful screened porch, open deck, and upper story flex room. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent and they were easy to work with. Highly recommend!
We were in the market to remodel our 15yo home's first floor to achieve better flow and update features and materials. Kitchen, master bath, LR, DR, laundry, porch, powder room, master closet, and back entrance. After exhaustive research into General Contractors, custom builders, etc., we chose to go with DiFabion based on a few different criteria. First, they specialize in remodels and not all types of construction which makes them knowledgeable about potential issues that may, and will, come up in the course of a remodel. Next, their outstanding reputation for doing quality work, and last but not least, they manage every aspect of the project in-house, from design to completion.
We were pleasantly surprised (having dealt with numerous contractors over many years) that the communication was very clear and transparent regarding cost, timeline, unexpected issues, etc. Everything from payment schedules to weekly work updates was crystal clear before any work was started. The most pleasant surprise (shock, really) of all was how clean the work site was left every day. Even after days of major demo, walls and ceilings ripped apart, there wasn't a spec of sawdust left on the ground. Also, they were extremely punctual; workdays began and ended every day at the same time. They were quiet and respectful of our neighbors and so were the sub-contractors who had obviously been advised by DiFabion what was expected at job sites. We had numerous positive comments from neighbors about that over the course of the remodel which from demo to completion took 8 months (yes, we moved into an apartment).
All that being said, at the end of the day, it's about the final product. Our house looks absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship and materials used, as well as working together toward a mutual design goal, made for a very impressive end result. Absolutely worth the time and cost to modify the home we already loved into one that not only looks beautiful but is much more functional than before.
I know contractors are hard to come by these days, and the wait may be long, but don't sell your home short out of impatience. DiFabion is worth waiting for.
Very professional and friendly! This is the 3rd project we’ve done with DiFabion and they did not disappoint. Trustworthy, very neat and organized work.
We have used 3 contractors and Difabion was the best. These guys are very good at their job and take pride in their craft. Very professional and nice folks as well. They created detailed plans of our project which included the bonus room, laundry / mud room update, kitchen updates and fireplace remodel. I consider these guys a high end remodeling firm but without the high end price or attitude. They were incredibly detailed, astute craftsmen who took pride in their work. Difabion's in-house carpenter did amazing work and we are extremely happy with the project. We hope to use them again for our porch project.
Michael DiFabion and his team did an excellent job on our master bath remodel and they will be my first call for future projects.
We did a complete renovation of our master bath, down to the studs. From initial site visit and proposal stage, Michael stood out. He was on time, curious, professional, and most of all, knowledgeable. And those traits flow down to his employees and sub contractors as well. Our designer, job foreman, and the entire team were courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
Since actions speak louder than words, here are two examples. My home office is very near the master bath, and one day I overheard one of the sub-contractors say to a fellow worker "Be sure to clean up real well, this is a DiFabion job". That tells me that the DiFabion team sets standards for their subs, and holds them to it.
Secondly, as with most projects, there will be hurdles, delays, unforeseen circumstances, etc. We had a few, and all were handled professionally and with superior customer service. One which is worthy of sharing is that we encountered an issue with some of the shower tiles not being installed quite right, and made the decision to have one wall of the shower stripped of the tiles and reinstalled with the correct layout. The DiFabion team and their contractors supported our decision and made things right !
The trust I have in the DiFabion firm is very high, and they have earned my future business.
Beverage centers, or dry bars, are the perfect spot for loved ones or guests to help themselves to a soda, water, coffee, or wine while you are in the kitchen cooking up a storm! Having a designated place for beverages keeps the work triangle in your kitchen at bay, keeping guests out of the way.
Check out this beautiful patio we created in South Charlotte! The warm toned paneled ceiling pairs nicely with the existing brick, and the custom columns with elliptical arches add brightness and dimension to the already beautiful space! Are you thinking about revamping your outdoor living space?.
The well-known butler's pantry has been popular over the past few years, but it doesn't always have to be just a storage area for the kitchen. Check out this awesome butler's pantry we did with sliding barn doors in Matthews! Instead of doing the typical butler's pantry with food and appliance.
Take a glance into what goes on behind the scenes when remodeling your kitchen! Here we have our client, Betsy Santos, and our Lead Designer, Marianne Shannon. They are laying out the countertop before fabrication to have that custom fit and design for the Santos' kitchen. This custom experience.
Check out this beautiful kitchen that we completed! Steering away from traditional kitchen layouts, our clients loved this custom design! We were able to keep a nice flow throughout the kitchen while utilizing the unique space. The two-toned kitchen cabinetry both complements and contrasts the.
