Professional rug cleaning is a science requiring years of knowledge, skills, and expertise that can only be obtained through training & years of experience. Two rugs are never washed simultaneously, never share the same unclean water - eliminating cross contamination problems. We avoid rotary scrubbing machines, wash tubs, automated systems, or chemicals.

Capital Rug Cleaning is a family-owned and operated business. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Hamid Wardak, a physician by training, who moved to the U.S. with the desire of providing a better future for his family. Knowledge of rug weaving, trade, and care came naturally for Dr. Wardak as it was rooted in family history and passed down from one generation to the next. We do not use a "rug tub" - Rugs are placed in a large tub holding up to 1,500 gallons of water and up to 10 rugs simultaneously. Some cleaning companies that do not have the expertise or have automated their processes. Unqualified cleaners (i.e., dry cleaners, home carpet cleaners, restoration companies) may not know the consequences of using chemicals and improper cleaning methods, often causing a great deal of damage.
