The typical home plumbing system is pretty complicated. First, there are water supply lines that go to each bathroom, a few different points around the kitchen, the water heater and possibly a basement water softener or wet bar. Second, there are numerous drain pipes that move all the waste water out of the home towards the main sewer line outside. Third, there are several pipe and tubing connecters, vents, dividers, drains and traps that keep the whole system working. When you take a good look at your plumbing system, you can see that there are many places where you may eventually develop a problem such as a leak, drip, frozen valve or a pipe just clogs up.
