Water restoration, fire restoration, and storm restoration - we fix it all at Archer Restoration Services. When your basement floods, or when flames and smoke wreak havoc on your kitchen, or when a wind-blown tree falls on your roof, that's when you need Archer. With more than 50 years' combined experience in the restoration business, Archer's courteous, professional staff has the technical know-how to make it all new again. What sets Archer apart from other restoration companies in the Atlanta area?
Nothing brightens a room, hallway or staircase more effectively than immaculate, shining hardwood floors. Cleaning them can be problematic, though - no matter how well-polished you keep your wood floors, there always seems to be some sort of blemish left behind. This is especially true, of course, after a home or commercial building has suffered catastrophic water, storm or fire damage. Whether you're looking for a thorough and lasting hardwood floor cleaning, or a complete hardwood restoration, Archer Restoration Services is the contractor of choice in Metro Atlanta.
After a flood or other catastrophic inundation, water extraction should not wait. The longer you delay the removal of standing or soaked-in water from your home or workplace, the greater the potential for a health risk to develop - mold spores begin to colonize wet or damp organic material like carpet, wood and drywall within 24 hours. Also, waiting too long might be interpreted by your insurance company as owner neglect, causing additional headaches when it's time to pay the bill. That's why Archer Restoration Services is available for emergency water extraction 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Fire and water damage restoration usually go hand-in-hand, for reasons that are painfully obvious to anyone who has witnessed the aftermath of a serious structural fire. This is particularly true for buildings equipped with interior sprinkler systems, which are triggered by smoke or excessive heat. While the sprinklers might save a room from complete immolation, the burn-damaged structure is soaked. Similarly, if the fire department is involved, your floors, furniture and walls will get hosed down.
A flooded basement can be devastating, but the sooner you act to repair it and control the damage, the more likely you are to save yourself additional stress later. When you find water in your basement, call Archer Restoration Services right away, no matter what time of day or night. We're available for basement water removal 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and we'll be at your door in less than an hour for most jobs. In the event of a flood, basement cleanup begins with the extraction of standing water in the crawl space, from under the stairs, and everywhere else that may be covered with water.
Mold removal is a vital part of protecting the value of your home or place of business, not to mention the health and well-being of your family or employees. Mold spores are everywhere - indoors and outdoors - but they need dampness and organic material to form the colonies that can destroy property and create a health hazard. Cleaning the mold is only the first step; any underlying water problems must be addressed, as well. Archer Restoration Services is the best choice in the Atlanta area for commercial and residential mold removal.
What separates Archer Restoration Services from other restoration companies in the Atlanta area is Archer's commitment to excellent service. Plain and simple - we love our clients, and it shows in the prompt, courteous and professional approach our technicians take with every job, big or small. Archer goes above and beyond the usual service provided by restoration companies, whether dealing with a flooded basement, mold remediation, floor repair or any other restoration job. Unlike many restoration contractors, Archer does it all - water extraction, dryout, carpet cleaning, handicap retrofitting, and much more.
Archer Restoration Services, Inc. is highly skilled at asbestos testing and removal, using the proper environmental science procedures to ensure that your home or business remains free of asbestos. Asbestos is a carcinogen that can reside in building materials, such as flooring, insulation or drywall. Asbestos can be a dangerous problem for contractors and homeowners performing renovation of older homes and businesses. Asbestos was a commonly used material in construction for many years before scientists and doctors learned of its harmful effects on people.
Mold remediation is not simply a matter of cleaning the visible mold that has infested damp wood or drywall. Mold spores are everywhere, inside and outside, but they merely float through the air if they don't have water and organic material to help them form destructive colonies. To properly handle a mold problem, you must also deal with the water problem, and that's where Archer Restoration Services excels. In addition to complete commercial and residential mold remediation, Archer attacks a mold problem at its source - the dampness, condensation or soaked-in water that gives mold spores a chance to thrive.
Smoke damage is more than the dirty aftermath of a fire in your home or place of business. Complete smoke damage restoration means cleaning all visible signs of soot and smoke discoloration, but it also means eliminating the lingering odor. Because smoke can infiltrate household vents and leave a malodorous and potentially hazardous residue, it's vitally important to have a smoke damage expert from Archer Restoration Services assess the need for repairs as soon as possible. Archer is a licensed contractor in the state of Georgia with an A-plus rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Carpet cleaning should not be put off after a flood or a burst water pipe soaks your home or your place of business. The main reasons? The longer you wait, the less likely it is that the carpet can be saved and the greater the potential health hazard - mold spores - begin to colonize wet carpet in less than 24 hours. There's this, as well: Your insurance company might interpret a delay as neglect on your part and could be less willing to pay for the necessary carpet restoration. That's why Archer Restoration Services is open for business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - because a carpet cleaning emergency requires a prompt, professional response.

Great company. We had a leak that went through the floor and created a mold problem. Archer Restoration set up heat and dehumidifiers to get rid of the moisture. They did very neat work, they came on time, they did what they promised. They worked with our insurance company. Josh and Nigel were our workers and they were wonderful. I would recommend this company to anyone! Thank you Archer Restoration!
I highly recommend working with Paul Letalien from Archer Restoration! Excellent and fast customer service for a terrible job. I gave Paul a call when a group of rats chewed through my pantry wall and destroyed the whole pantry. We had gotten the rat problem taken care of, but the pantry was a disaster zone. There was feces, blood, and all kinds of horrible things left in the pantry. Paul came out immediately and checked out the situation. He got the supplies and came right back the next morning first thing and cleaned and sanitized everything. It was a nasty job, but he didn't once complain. He had everything cleaned and ready to go within an hour of being there. Friendly, professional, and extremely dedicated guy. My pantry is spotless and he even patched the hole the rats left in the wall. It was certainly hard work and he gave unbelievable service. I absolutely recommend going to Archer for any restoration services you need.
We had 2 trees fall on our house exactly one year apart. The first time we used Archer we couldnt have been more pleased. The second time was a nightmare. The house was left trashed, debris everywhere. Had 2 parents in hospital at time so home was not 1st concern.Took us so long to get house back in order that it took 6 to 8 months to realize that items were never returned that had been in storage, attic stairs were blocked and once we got into it no insulation ( that was paid for and sitting in rolls) had been installed. Gaping hole in wall had been covered up with curtains and painted around, cracks in walls, replaced custom pantry with cheap kit, failed to uncover return vent that had been sheetrocked over and custom bathroom cabinetry was cut apart and jerry rigged to walls. When contacted, were unconcerned and did not respond to calls until lawsuit was threatened. Begrudgingly made repair to wall but would not address other issues. Would give negative stars if it were an option. Still have issues today from substandard repairs. Do not use!
We used Archer for restoration work after discovered a leak and also upgraded our master bathroom. The team was very professional in their approach and provided creative solutions. Reece Payne managed the projects and provided thorough communication throughout and delivered. I would recommend Archer for home repairs or upgrades.
A relatively straight forward repair began in mid September and is STILL not complete in late February. Completely unacceptable customer service has cost me thousands of dollars in rent. Insurance approved the repairs the very day Archer came out so the only one to blame for this is Archer.
Archer Restoration was the absolute best! They were very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help! I was watching a friend’s house and a sink pipe broke. Archer Restoration told me what I should do while they drive over. Once the team showed up it was game on! They ripped everything out, had the fans and heater going in no time. The Archer Restoration crew came back every day to help and get things back to normal. They were a breath of fresh air during a stressful time. Thanks guys! Keep up the excellent work!
