Gerber Moving and Storage is a family-owned business that takes pride in every move we make. We've served the Kansas City region since the 1920s. In fact, we have clients who have used us for more than 60 years. We've even helped some families move multiple times from home to home! We take great pride in continuously serving repeat customers. Family members Bill, Mike and Ron Gerber run Gerber Moving & Storage-they are the sons and grandsons of founder Arthur Gerber. Each one is in the office or out at customer locations everyday, and they personally oversee as many jobs as they can to ensure customer satisfaction. Our core staff includes office personnel and field crews-the folks who move your furniture and appliances, bicycles and boxes. People on our field crews are trained professional packers and movers. Most people aren't born knowing how to pack crystal and china, books and saucepans, electronics and artwork, refrigerators, outdoor grills, swing sets-you name it!

Customers may need items stored while they wait for their new home to be available, or they may need to store items indefinitely. Either way, Gerber Moving & Storage can meet your needs. We own and operate a 72,000-sq. Government-approved warehouse- Gerber meets stringent financial requirements (reviewed annually) and security measures in its storage facility. Modern containers-Large containers keep your goods clean and separated from those of other customers. Separate upholstery rack-All upholstered items are shrink-wrapped to prevent dust and mold from damaging your furnishings.
