Northwest Fireplace and Chimney was founded in 2010 by Octavio De La Vega, who began work as a union bricklayer in Chicago more than 10 years prior. In 2004, Octavio transitioned into the chimney and fireplace industry and began working for a large company in Illinois, before moving to Valparaiso, IN. Northwest Fireplace and Chimney was founded out of Octavio's strong belief in providing excellent customer service and expert craftsmanship, and that belief is still at the heart of service today.
