Arlington Custom Builders is an Arizona custom home builder and home remodeling contractor. Arlington is owned and operated by husband and wife team Alan Anderson and Brenda Southard. Alan moved to Arizona 30 years ago and Brenda is a fifth-generation native. As long-time residents, they love the beauty and diversity of Arizona architecture. One of Arlington Custom Builders founding owners is Alan Anderson. He is a trusted Arizona contractor. Alan got his start in contracting during high school and college working for his father's company - EG Anderson Construction in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In 1985, the family moved to Scottsdale and founded Arlington Construction Company, now known as Arlington Custom Builders. We were going to name it EG Anderson Construction again, but the registrar of contractions said there were too many Andersons.

We love creating spacious, elegant homes, from the ground up, including a 17-house subdivision, which we took from raw land, changed the zoning, and ran all the sewer, utilities, water and roads. Then we designed the houses, colorized them, and then built them. We've also completed a 6,000 square foot custom home in North Scottsdale, and a 3,400 square foot custom dwelling on the west side.

When it's time to remodel your home, you want it done competently, on time and at the right price. While this may sound easy enough, it can be much harder than you think. Arlington Custom Builders and owner, Alan Anderson were the right people for our job. We wanted to do a significant remodel of our home. The project scope included gutting 2 bathrooms and a complete re-design of the master bath and closet configuration. In addition, we replaced all of the flooring and some of our kitchen cabinets. Right off the bat, Alan was flexible. He allowed us to dream and request every feature. Then as we made adjustments to fit our budget, Alan made a clear effort to help us balance our plan against our pocketbook. Despite the fact that it was more work for his team, Alan accommodated our desire to move to a different section of our home while they worked. The extent of our changes required Alan to bring a variety of craftsmen to handle various components of the job. Everyone that Alan brought into our home was courteous, responsive, competent and pleasant. Like us, Alan paid attention to the details of the work. If we weren't 100% satisfied, Alan made it right. I would highly recommend Arlington Custom Builders.
