While wasps are one of nature's reliable pollinators, they also deliver some of the most painful stings — and they can sting multiple times without dying. When you want to take care of a wasp infestation quickly and effectively, it's important to rely on wasp exterminators, like Antworks. Professional wasp control services are the safest and most effective way to eliminate these stinging insects and help prevent them from returning. Wasps are considerably more aggressive compared to honey bees.

For odorous house ant control, it is crucial to enlist the help of a professional. Preventing odorous house ants indefinitely is not a realistic expectation; however, keeping good sanitation and managing garbage areas/food locations is very important. Elimination of standing water, reduction of clutter, and trimming back of vegetation are all great preventative steps you can take for odorous house ants and other pests. If you have an odorous house ant infestation, it is important to understand that managing the problem can be a process.
Pavement ants can be a frustrating pest to control. The best method of prevention is to make your home as inhospitable to the critters as possible. This means that you should try to keep things as clean as possible and reduce the food attractants to a minimum. Even with ideal sanitation, their nests and colonies can be difficult to locate, and there are many products on the market for ants (but not all of them are effective on pavement ants). It is best to contact a skilled pest management professional to assist you in eradicating pavement ants from your home.

The Cellar Spider is also referred to as Daddy Long Legs. This Pholcid spider is easily removed by chemical means, as they move their egg sacks with their mouth and if you treat egg sacks they will ingest poison. These spiders hang upside down preying on insects and spiders in garages, cellars, and other buildings. Legend says the Cellar Spider has the deadliest venom amongst all spiders, this is a myth. Cellar Spiders fangs lack the length to puncture the thickness of normal human skin, and even if they could, their venom would be little more than an annoyance.
The hobo spider is also called the aggressive house spider and is a common spider in the Pacific Northwest. Outside, the hobo spider will construct a snare or funnel web, which is a trampoline-like, horizontal web constricting back into a funnel or hole. The web is typically found in a crack between bricks or under wood piles, stones, or vegetation. Inside our homes or structures they build funnel-shaped webs in dark, moist areas such as basements, window wells and under low lying furniture. It is a large (1 to 1 inch, including legs), fast-running brown spider with a herringbone or multiple chevron pattern on the top of the abdomen.
Mosquitos need water to breed and lay eggs. They have adapted to live in almost any source of water, including ponds, marches, drainage ditches, and even puddles. If there is a source of water nearby, there are most certainly mosquitos. Mosquitos typically rest during the day in shady areas, and feed as the sun goes down, and at night. Mosquitos are more than just a nuisance-they can carry diseases that affect humans, including West Nile virus. Keeping mosquitos away from your home or business is critical for both your comfort and safety.

I became an exterminator with the intention of providing the best pest control services in Portland OR and Vancouver WA. I had a desire to approach the environment, customer service and value of pest control services in a different way. Antworks Pest Control's Mission is to put these three things together, resulting in the ultimate experience. We protect the environment by implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices into all of our treatments. IPM practices don't just rely on the use of pesticides, but what is "environmentally" causing you to have a pest problem and allows us to work toward a long term solution.
The air is brisk and the leaves have fallen. Winter is right around the corner which means you don't have to worry about pesky fleas anymore, right? Not exactly. Although fleas cannot survive in. When it comes to pests, there's one in particular that can be the most destructive-termites! It's estimated that termites cause around $5 billion dollars in property damage a year! You're lounging on your sofa, with the fireplace crackling, enjoying a good read when out of nowhere a mouse scurries by. Suddenly, you aren't so relaxed anymore.
Controlling ants in the Pacific Northwest may seem like a constant battle. They're always migrating and developing new colonies. And the troubling thing about ants is that colonies can be numerous in size — with between 300,000 to 500,000 members looking for water or sweet items to feast on. Antworks Pest Control is here to help keep ants out of your property. We provide a variety of effective treatment approaches customized to meet your needs and your budget. Not all ants are created equal.
Pantries are the ultimate in food-storage convenience, but pantries are also convenient for pests, offering both shelter and food. Any kitchen space can become infested with a pest, but pantries are especially prone. With a few preventative measures, you can keep your pantry clean and pest-free. If you are experiencing an infestation, it's important to know when to use professional pantry pest extermination services. Even the cleanest of pantries can be affected by these pests. Warehouses, factories, and other industrial spaces where food is stored or prepared can be affected by any number of pests.

This is why it's important to contact your local cockroach exterminator, like Antworks. We have years of experience with cockroaches and we know exactly how to treat them. We'll eliminate your cockroach infestation quickly, effectively, and for good! Cockroaches thrive in areas that are warm and moist, and they'll do whatever it takes to survive. Finding a cockroach doesn't always mean your house is untidy.
Hornets can be very problematic and dangerous to your family and pets. Having a professional hornet exterminator take care of nest removal is safe and quick. Hornets create nests in corners of porches, garages, and sheds. When aggravated, they sting people. For people with severe allergies to hornets, it can be deadly to come into contact with them. The pests love sugar, sap, and protein. When a food source is present, they're likely going to stick around for the long haul. Hornets love to build nests in abandoned burrows created by animals because they prefer to live underground.
Ants and other pests are attracted to moisture related areas such as the kitchens and/or bathrooms. An exterminator concentrates the treatment in those key areas where ants reside. Wall void injections, crack, crevice and sometimes baseboard treatments are also necessary if your exterminator finds the infestation has spread. The materials used inside the house are odorless and once dry, are safe for children and pets to be present. We focus on the environment and eliminating pest with our exterminator methods and materials.
Spiders find their way into homes and businesses through cracks in the foundation, tears in screen doors, and gaps between windows and window frames. They set up house in a property by spinning webs in corners of rooms and structures, building nests, and laying eggs. Although spiders are great for ridding a property of other types of pests such as flies, they're not the type of guest people want hanging around at any given time. If you have several spiders lurking about in your home or business, contact your local spider exterminators, Antworks!

Love this family owned company, they came all the way to Yacolt, Wa. to spray my new build house, they are very thorough, the technicians were extremely polite and very knowledgeable even though we are up in the forest a little bit. I would recommend them to everyone!
I'd give 10 stars if I could. We've used multiple other companies and with no relief. But Antworks has eliminated and controlled our little ant pests! Plus, customer service is on point from when I call to the tech that comes out to the house! I recommend to everyone!
These peeps are the best! We've been leveraging their services for several years. The applications they use get rid of the ants fast! If the ants come back, they do, too! Every interaction I've had with all of the folks here has been delightful. I very much enjoy working with these folks!
Time to put a fork in it folks.winter is "over" west of the Cascades in the lowlands. Of course we could still get a brief wet morning snowfall in March; but nothing that would affect your life. Details in my FOX 12 Oregon weather blog this evening: https:// www.kptv.com/ weather/blog/.
The warmer season is finally coming. This is really good advice on here. Especially opening crawlspace vents. I can't tell you how many times we get new ant calls from folks in the middle of Summer. When we arrive to treat, we find they forgot to open up the crawlspace vents for the warmer.
