Tulare Irrigation Dist

The Tulare Irrigation District is a political subdivision of the State of California - an independent agency operating under the California Water Code. Our purpose is to obtain and deliver a surface water supply for the irrigation of farms in the District and for the recharge of the groundwater basin underlying the District. The District delivers surface water to approximately 230 farms. The exterior boundary encompasses an area of 77,000 acres (Including the City of Tulare which is not part of the District).
