Ron Cuny is more than a licensed home builder. He is a contractor who attains peace of mind knowing he has created, from the ground up, a corner of the world all your own, where you can come home and relax. He is devoted to not only building a charming home, but is also committed to building one that is efficient. Ron first had a passion to build homes in 1995, when he built his first home. He and his wife, Amy, founded ARK Builders in 1998. The ARK in ARK Builders are their children's initials: Andrew, (Ronald) Blake and Kelsey.
Ron grew up in Mobile, Alabama but has called the Eastern Shore home since 1991. He has an AS in Computer Science. His passion for building began in 1991 when he was exposed to the home building field through his position as Vice President of Sales at Quality Alarm Systems in Pensacola, Florida. Ron's passion and energy to design and build homes is what sets him apart from the rest. He prides himself on building relationships with his customers that will last far beyond the completion of their new home.
From our very first meeting with Ron to talk through plans all the way through completion, we were completely impressed with all members of the ARK team. Ron and team were very personable and professional while delivering on all commitments. I had a great experience with Ron. The house turned out perfect, it was finished when he said it would be and at the price we agreed to. He also took care of any issues far after the house was complete. Ron is up front and tells it like it is, which is a good thing when it comes to building a house. Wouldn't use anyone else.
