My first impression of Jonathan Kent was a smiling friendly guy. He was my second quote and gave me a price that beat my first quote before I told him what my first quote was. I told him I was getting one more quote and he told me if I had any questions even about other quotes to just give him a call. He's always been responsive, on time, honest and an over all good person vs a lot of other companies in the construction business. I'd highly recommend him to help keep a roof over your head!

We had a roof leak underneath our solar panels. The solar company was going to charge us to take a look (and walk away) if they found it wasn't their fault. So we had Kent Roofing come out to take a look and give us their opinion. I had a long chat with Jonathan, who was very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us his suggestions for how to proceed. We called in the solar company and had someone from Kent Roofing come out at the same time to make sure everything went smoothly. After the panels were off and water tests were done Kent Roofing patched the leak right there and confirmed that the fix worked.
It was great that they were able to work around the scheduling conflicts with the solar company and patched everything up smoothly and without any hassle. Thank you so much!

Not every contractor deserves a five star rating, but Kent roofing surely does. And they deserve your consideration for your roofing needs.
My experience with Kent started about 2.5 years ago after our home was fumigated. We were advised to have our roof inspected for broken tiles and leaks, which led me to reach out to Kent.
Karla is a total sweetheart and very easy to talk to. Jonathan is the consummate professional when he comes to inspect your roof. Francisco does excellent work on top of your house.
Overall, I am very pleased with this company. We had a slight miscommunication along the way, but their entire team made sure that our roof was in good hands.
We ended up with a few broken tiles and a leak in the corner of our house. It required a few trips to remedy the issue, but Kent proceeded admirably and professionally. When it comes time to replace our roof, I will be giving Kent another call.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Kent Roofing to replace my roof, and I must say they did an exceptional job. While their pricing was slightly on the higher side, it remained competitive, and the quality of their work made every penny worth it.
The new roof they installed looks fantastic, giving my home a refreshed appearance. Additionally, they paid great attention to detail when it came to the gutters and drain pipes, ensuring they were in perfect condition. I also appreciate that they took the initiative to replace some unsightly plywood under an overhang that had been bothering me since we moved in.
One aspect that impressed me was the efficiency with which the job was completed. Despite roofing being a messy task, the crew made sure to clean up every speck of debris before leaving. Their dedication to tidiness was truly commendable.

Mario and Francisco from Kent Roofing just completed two days of work on our house. They definitely demonstrated a high work standard.
Our roof has tiles that break easily and are no longer manufactured. These roofers knew how to walk on the roof so very few tiles broke, and, more importantly, they were able to bring a unbroken tiles to the job, to replace those that broke.
When they peeled off the outer tiles it was clear that more work, and expense, would be required to really do a thorough job. This probably happens in any roofing repair.
Kent uses an adhesive rubber film instead of tar paper. It's more expensive but it lasts longer and seals better.
When Jonathan gave us our quote he said that Kent Roofing is not the cheapest alternative, but they do quality work.

This is the way a company should be run! I called for a quote -- Jonathan showed up and I got a quote that was in line with others I got. I gave them the go-ahead and they said they would start in a month. Three weeks later they called and said they would start one week early. They finished the job in four and a half days. The crew was friendly, efficient, hard working, and respectful. They did a great job -- I love our new roof!
Now the good part: During the job the foreman told me my attic exhaust fan was broken so it was discarded. He also said I wouldn't need to replace it because they would be installing roof peak vents. A month after the job was completed I noticed our ceiling seemed to be hotter than usual. I checked the attic and found it w4r4as 105 degrees. I sent an email to Jonathan explaining the problem. I said, "If I buy a new fan, would you install it at no charge?" He said, "We'll do whatever it takes to make you happy." The crew showed up yesterday afternoon and installed my new fan!
