In 2000, our company and its founders pledged $1 million to Weber State University to help found the Parson Construction Management Technology Program. This program provides education and training to several hundred students and benefits the entire construction industry. Mining and aggregate production are the foundation of our business. For this reason, we educate thousands of students each year about the vital role aggregates play in our everyday lives because rocks really do build our world. The outreach program dovetails with the fourth-grade geology science curriculum and provides students a fun, interactive, and hands-on learning experience.
