After your blinds have been removed from the windows, they are washed in a tank with warm soapy water and ultrasound. The sound waves in the water thoroughly wash the slats, the strings, inside the head rail, and mechanism. The blinds are then rinsed utilizing a water soluble sheeting agent which allows the blinds to dry very quickly and without water spots. When dry, the blinds are replaced in the windows. Our unique Clean & Rinse, Truck-Mounted Hot Water Extraction process begins with the application of a safe cleaning solution onto your carpet to loosen the soil.
What a great experience. They repaired our broken 12 year old Hunter Douglas top down bottom up shade. We had spent hours at home trying to fix it ourselves without success. We dropped off the blind and requested a quick turnaround and they got it done in one business day for a very reasonable price. They were very accommodating to our timing, they even found us a special missing piece for our other blind so we could fix that one at home and worked like a charm! They clearly care about their customers. Thank you!
Chase installed remote controlled blinds in a home office, our kitchen, and in a living space...as well as a custom shutter in master bath. Everything was done neatly, accurately, and with good covid protocols.
On a previous visit, while having the original estimate done, Ted repaired a remote controlled skylight and showed me how to do so by myself in the future.
A lot of what I ordered was custom, and was delivered and ready to install in the timeframe promised.
Everything on how to operate and program my remote controls was carefully explained in lay person terms.
I would highly recommend for installations and/or repairs...as they deliver as promised, have good pricing, and exhibit genuine care.
Tim, Shelley and Emily ROCK! If I could, I would give them 10 stars. We were in the market for new blinds for our living room and didn't hesitate to call Chase's. We wanted to stay local and all the reviews we read were incredible so we knew we didn't have look any further than our own backyard. Customer service was great from start to finish. Being the middle to COVID, we made an appointment and met Shelly at the Showroom where she showed us all the different shades and explained the differences. Within 24 hours we had an emailed quote for the 3 various designs we had chosen. After that, Tim came out and measured. He is such a professional. So respectful of us and our home, and just a really nice and personable guy. He really knows his stuff and even brought more samples as I was having second thoughts on our first choices. After more discussion, we decided on Harbor Mist (perfect as we live on the Marina) and in 5 short weeks, he was back again installing them. They look absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier. We would highly recommend Chase's for all your window needs. Price was fair, customer service was incredible, and the blinds are perfection.
I would recommend this company based on their excellent customer service.
Emily helped me out with a small fixing of my blinds during a phone call. I explained the issue and she instructed me on how to take down my blinds. I was afraid I was going to break something but her instructions helped. She didn't pawn me off to a technician. I appreciate when a company does not gouge money out of you for no reason. She saved me a trip to Benicia and a service charge. It was a quick small fix to my string and I am happy I didn't have to come in.
Thank you Emily for your excellent customer service and thanks Chase's Carpet & Blinds.
I have taken my Hunter Douglas blinds for repairs at Chase's several times now and each time they have been friendly, professional and did the repairs quickly and at low cost. Just today, I took a set of blinds in to have a broken lift handle replaced. They repaired the blind quickly while I was there and I went home extremely satisfied. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but Chase's deserves 5 STARS. I'll use Chase's for all my blind needs from now on!
My husband and I recently bought a house that came with Hunter Douglas blinds, 3 of which needed restringing. Ted came over, picked up the blinds, took them to his shop and came back and reinstalled them all within one day. Can't beat the timeliness of that! Also, when he was here he answered a bunch of my questions about how best to care for the blinds, which I believe will make them last longer and require fewer repairs.
I'd generally give that a 5 star rating, but within 3 days the "bell" that holds the strings together had come apart on all three of them. I called and a very nice woman (I think it was Emily) came over and glued them back together for me.
All in all, I'm very pleased with the service I received from Chase's.
I needed my Hunter Douglas aluminum blinds restrung for a number of our plethora of windows after moving into Husband-Bear and my first home together in 2016. I was scared because Hunter Douglas blinds are PRICEY! Chase's Carpets & Blinds (CCB) was very professional. They were timely and fair. The CCB guy was very willing to discuss the longevity of our current window treatments, how often we might need to restring in the future, and even gave us a rough estimate if we wanted to get plantation shutter blinds in the future.
I appreciated the honesty about cost of replacement vs. restringing. We were even missing one of the sticks to adjust the blinds and our guy had an extra in the truck he was able to replace for us on the spot. For 4 re-strings, 2 wands, and remounting a fallen blind, the cost was $225.
I'm normally pretty handy but after looking at how to restring blinds on YouTube, I was more than happy to spend this amount of money to save myself the time. After watching my guy from CCB do the work, I was extra happy I paid someone! In 2017, I'm pleased to say that the work has held up beautifully!
I will be calling CCB in the future for all my window treatment needs.
Ted Ball, Chase's master installer of all blinds, came out to my house to repair three Hunter Douglas blinds which had previously been "repaired" under warranty but continued to fail despite the fact they had been sent to official HD fabrication centers for repair. Ted assessed the internal cord failure in the rail of each blind and literally had all three repaired in 25 minutes. I am certain that they will be good to go for a long time. The service call and labor charges are extremely reasonable and he truly is a "master." I intend to visit Chase's when I need new blinds and will probably use their carpet cleaning service as well as my experience today was superior in all ways. They are the real deal for repair, sales, and service!
OMG! I thought I was going to have to replace a bunch of blinds and shades due to broken strings, lift pullls and stains from a roof leak - NOT!! Ted from Chase came out - fixed all of the strings and lifts pulls on the first visit and then took the two largest shades for cleaning and restringing and they came back perfect.(these shades would have cost a fortune to replace). I would highly recommend Chase and especially Ted for any work you might need on window coverings - they are the best and saved us a huge amount of money by not having to replace shades.
Shelley and Ted are the best !
Not only with the carpet cleaning services, but they are one of the rare cleaning companies that do fantastic cleaning of drapery, sheers, and plantation shutters to name a few....
They also are in the Hunter Douglas window coverings business, sales and service. I have been happy to refer them to friends and family with great feed back on their attention to detail, friendly customer service, and great communication during the process. Their finish product was excellent.
Tell Shelley or Ted Hi, and that I sent you from this review. 5*s
We used them to clean our carpet. Honestly I didn't have much hope since it it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, it's light color and we have a kid and a dog. I'm sure you can imagine. Anyway, Chris came, he was super nice, very professional and a miracle happened! The carpet is now super clean. All the stains are gone!
I just found my folder of receipts from Chase's carpet cleaning, dating back to November 1996! We used them today, our 14th time in 20 years, and I realized I'd never reviewed them before. They have always been excellent. Shelley (daughter of Chase, who only passed away recently, I hear) is efficient and pleasant on the phone, although we've never met. The three technicians we have had over the years have all arrived on time, been courteous, moved furniture, and most importantly, done a good job.
They leave me with a bottle of their very effective spot cleaner - it's best to spot clean stains as soon as possible after they occur, rather than waiting for a year until the next cleaning.
Mainly we clean all our wall-to-wall carpeting, but they've occasionally helped me with cushions.
I wait about 18 hours before re-placing the furniture in the right spots.
I have not found that Scotchguard helps so I no longer pay for that. Coupons arrive in the mail and today I got $40 off the total.
We have electric Hunter-Douglas blinds in our house and after 14 years the line in one died causing the blind to hang strangely and not operate appropriately. After googling/searching, my husband talked with Chase's and arranged an appointment with Ted (?).
We had this happen to another blind a couple of years ago, but couldn't find the business contact -- possibly no longer in business. The process took about a month. Someone came out, removed the blind, shipped it to H-D, returned, scheduled reinstall, blah, blah blah. It took forever.
When Ted arrived, he immediately saw the problem and offered to fix it right then and there. What?! A skilled, knowledgeable person able to fix something quickly. Not possible. But that is exactly what he did. I asked him to check the rest of our blinds and he identified three others that were on their last legs. So I asked him to replace their cords as well.
That was weeks ago, and everything is running perfectly.
Ted was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient, and quick. I would HIGHLY recommend Chase's.
