It takes an alliance to create cleaner air, quieter spaces, and more harmonious and sustainable communities for us all. It is our privilege to be partnering with some very forward-thinking people across a spectrum of public, private, and municipal organizations. This work would not be possible without them. In keeping with our pledge to become a more sustainable city, South Pasadena worked with AGZA to transition municipal grounds maintenance from fossil fuel based operations to advanced cordless battery equipment, manual tools, and ecologically friendly landscape practices.
The American Green Zone Alliance (AGZA) is shifting on how grounds maintenance operations are executed and the technology used for this massive industry. AGZA's efforts have resulted in the creation of green-collar jobs, improved the health of grounds maintenance workers and communities, reduced impacts on our planet, and enhanced the quality of life in AGZA Green Zone areas.
