Stump Shark's humble beginnings started 2013 with a small 25 horse power grinder, an old pickup truck, and a desire to provide a quality alternative to the current stump grinding options available. I have a background in the tree service and am an active career firefighter in Connecticut. While in college I worked a construction job so I was no stranger to machinery and hard work. Since 2013 Stump Shark has grown in ways I could not imagine at the time. Starting with that small machine then upgrading to a larger diesel rig and currently using a massive 85 horsepower remote controlled grinder has allowed me to grow exponentially and service many more customers.
