The Home Improvement Council of Western New York was organized in 1963 at the request of members concerned with upgrading the standards and image of the home remodeling industry. The HIC Emblem helps to identify and protect the participating members of the Home Improvement Council and assures the prospective consumer that his work will be performed under the ethical standards of the Home Improvement Council. One of the most important missions of our Council is to serve the home improvement consumer by requiring adherence to the highest standards of business practice among our members.
