Independently operated by the same owner since its founding, Roadside Lumber & Hardware is one of the oldest businesses in Agoura Hills along with the Agoura Hills Post Office. Roadside began with just a few employees, supplying the landscape contractor primarily with railroad ties, redwood, plant material and nursery supplies. Over the next decade, Roadside added employees and developed a full line of lumber and hardware inventory to serve residential building contractors with professional quality stock and special order building materials not usually available in the "big box" stores.
