Minutes from downtown, Hunter's Nursery is the oldest continuously family-owned nursery in San Diego. Founder, Howard Hunter, moved to southern California from Seattle after retiring as a fireman/engineer on the Northern Pacific Railroad. Working part-time in a lemon-packing house, Howard decided to open a citrus orchard and nursery in Lemon Grove in 1919. Today, Hunter's Nursery continues their tradition of providing quality plants and products for home gardeners and landscape professionals.
It's almost a new year and you know what that means? The roses are in. 2500 of them. Great prices; $19.95 for bush roses & $25.95-39.95 for tree roses.
