In 1968, Capital City Appliance Service, Inc. was founded by the Brownfield brothers. The two-man operation sold used appliances and parts and ran service calls at their East Fifth Avenue location. The following year, the company moved to West Third Avenue in Grandview, where they remained for 29 years. After that building was sold, the family business moved to Fisher Road on Columbus' West Side in 1998. What began as a small family operation grew to what is now a 35 employee company. Our largest growth happened when our current company president joined the team in 2001.
