For nearly 30 years, Loudoun Valley Floors has been serving the region as an independently owned floor covering company. We stand behind the floors you stand on, with top brands, huge selection, and design help, plus expert installation by our own employee teams and technicians. Our owners live and work in the community and continue a time-honored commitment to exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction, all at a fair price. Since 1991, Loudoun Valley Floors has offered an incredible selection of top-quality flooring from leading manufacturers with service to match.
Laminate is easy to install and maintain and can add an expensive look to your home without stretching your wallet. Laminate flooring is made by fusing several different materials on to a high density core. The pieces of laminate essentially click together to form the floor. For foyers, hallways, and high-traffic areas, as well as rooms, laminate surfaces are virtually immune to spills, scuffs, stains and fading. They can be installed over dry concrete, wooden subfloors and older flooring. Though it's relatively new to the flooring industry, waterproof laminate flooring is a good option for areas prone to damage from spills or leaks or areas where traditional hardwood simply wouldn't be practical, like bathrooms or sunrooms.
Every customer chooses flooring for specific reasons. Often our customers also have special needs or concerns, like pets in the home who could damage wood, heavy use in certain areas of the home including kitchens and bathrooms, or even want to address indoor allergies. Our sales professionals can help direct you to the best brands and products to meet your special requests. Loudoun Valley Floor offers environmentally friendly flooring options that are safe and emission- and odor-free, including Lauzon, a sustainably harvested brand of hardwood that can actually help purify the air on your home.
Luxury vinyl is the go-to flooring choice for the look of authentic hardwood, ceramic or stone without the maintenance hassles. Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) comes in tile sizes and gives a ceramic look, while luxury vinyl plank (LVP) comes in planks, for the hardwood look. Both offer an elegant look and the feel of all-natural materials-without maxing out your budget. Installing luxury vinyl flooring gives you a realistic look, like tile or wood, with the ease of low maintenance. It's naturally water resistant and also resists scratches, stains, and scuffs.
A timeless classic fit for nearly any home, hardwood is a popular choice for flooring. It is easy to maintain, comes in many styles, colors and designs, and can even add to the market resale value of your home. We offer both solid and engineered hardwood from a variety of manufacturers, as well as unfinished wood that is custom finished onsite. In solid wood flooring, each plank is a solid piece of wood from the finest domestic or exotic hardwoods. These hardwood floors are best installed on or above grade.
Our carpet, hardwood, vinyl, tile, and laminate installers are specialists at their craft- experienced and knowledgeable about our products and their specific installation. Refinishing your hardwood floor is a great way to extend your investment. Hardwood floors increase your home's resale value, coordinate with nearly any type of dcor, and can last for decades when properly cared for. Time can wear away the thin finish on a hardwood floor, allowing moisture and dirt to enter the wood grain and cause permanent damage. Refinishing is recommended when you notice the finish is worn or damaged and has lost its original luster. Heavy traffic can also erode the finish, and kids, pets and furniture can leave dents, scratches and even gouges that can be erased with sanding and refinishing.
Loudoun Carpet Care is the sister service to Loudoun Valley Floors. We'll get your carpet, rugs, upholstery and ceramic tile deep down clean. Our cleaning equipment, technology and techniques are state-of-the-art; our teams are our own - trained and certified; and we take the time to do each cleaning right.
One of the best things about carpet is that it can be used in nearly any room in your home. Thanks to today's stain resistant treatments and different fiber types, no room is off limits. Soft, luxurious carpeting is a beautiful, functional, and economical flooring option for families with kids and pets. With so many eye-catching patterns, unforgettable textures and dazzling, fashionable colors, our carpet manufacturers offer styles to fit your lifestyle. In fact, we carry the softest, most family-friendly and pet-friendly carpets that stand up to high-traffic wear and resists life's spills and stains.
We had hardwood installed on the main level of our house and carpet installed in the bedrooms on the second floor. We had a little bit of a hardwood glitch, but Loudoun Valley Floors worked with us and everything turned out very nicely. With the hardwood installation, Loudoun Valley Floors first removed all of our old wood floors. However, while installing the new wood, the crew chief stopped the installation process and called my attention to a minor flaw in the material I had chosen. They let me decide if I wanted to continue with the hardwood installation. I said no, I wanted to order another product. We ordered a different wood flooring and our replacement order was in the works. But in the meantime, we were walking around on rough subflooring and getting our share of splinters in our feet. Loudoun Valley Floors was kind enough to come over with large carpet remnants to cover our subfloor as we waited for our floors to be shipped and installed. No more splinters! Now everything is installed. It all looks terrific and we're very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. But we're also impressed with Loudoun Valley Floors' honesty (calling attention to the wood floor defect), and their customer service (temporary remnants on our subfloors). I'd definitely recommend them for hardwood and/or carpet installation.
Good luck getting a response. We visited the showroom to select a floor that we liked and scheduled a time for someone to come measure our square footage. We received an estimate that was slightly over our budget, we asked the sale rep if there were other options that would align more closely with our budget. We are still waiting for a return phone call and email - both have not been returned. Terrible customer service and just plain rude. I will take my business elsewhere.
Had carpet installed in the living room, hallway and master bedroom. The installation team were top notch. Working with Steve made the project very easy. We thank you and will highly recommend Loudoun Valley Floors to anyone looking for flooring needs Mark and Jennifer Hardy
