We're a group of guys from all kinds of backgrounds. In My Truck Buddy's near-decade of existence, we've had guys from all branches of the military, photographers, journalists, college students, a published author and yes, we've even had professional movers. Regardless of their background, they're all trained and "indoctrinated" in the MTB way of doing things. Our culture of excellence transfers from one year to the next. The company was born of necessity (more on that below). I started with just myself and my pickup truck.
We're here to do a job and do it right. The work is tough and doesn't yield to slackers. While our rates are fair and competitive, we believe customers deserve the absolute best for what they're paying. Movers have, shall we say, a certain reputation. We strive to overcome it on each and every job. We look for guys who not only can handle the physical aspects of the job, but have awesome "people skills." Trust is everything in the moving industry, which is why people come back to us two, three, four or more times — often up until they move out of the area.
I've moved twice with MTB now and they do a great job! It only took 3 hours to get all us completely moved from one 2 bedroom apartment to another. They are polite and on time and the price was great!
Cannot rave enough. MTB helped me load a moving truck, i.e. loaded a moving truck for me. Crew was early, unbelievably efficient (couldn't believe how speedy) while also being very conscientious about treating everything with care. The guys were also very professional, incredibly nice, and just generally a delight. Felt like I was committing highway robbery because of how reasonable the price was, too. This was far and away the easiest part of my move, would rebook again in heartbeat.
MTB the moving company is no longer in operation, but I’m still happy to help with the occasional buddy-with-a-tr uck job. Message me through Facebook and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
Not sure how many boxes you'll need for your move? Here's a good rule of thumb I put together...
The driver’s body language says it all. “How the [redacted] am I going to explain this to Penske?”

Yeah, we don't do the Twitter so much...
@davidrocknyc Here's an idea: get an intern at Vayner to compile all content relevant to blue collar/service industry. It'd be appreciated
How did I miss this? Thanks so much for the shout-out! https://t.co/80FFVVuX8R
@Formstack Fields on a form are disappearing. Any ideas? They're gone even before saving.
