Ron came to my house to give me an estimate on installing new blinds on 5 windows and an oversized sliding door after I had gotten my windows replaced. Ron was on-time, friendly and knowledgeable, helping my make a decision on the type of blinds that would work for my place. He was able to get me a quote within a day and I decided to go ahead with the project.
His son Brett contacted me when the blinds had come in and scheduled the install date/time. Brett and his helper showed up on time and were able to quickly take down the old window coverings and install the new. They were friendly, professional and clean. When they left I had my new blinds installed and really made the place look great.

I have used Ron Allen Draperies on three of my homes as well as my friends and family. Every encounter and project from start to finish has been wonderful with Ron and his team. On My most recent project, Ron's son Brett & his assistant were absolutely a pleasure ! They were so professional and Brett is so experienced. He made sure every detail was perfect. Long overdue review for Ron Allen and Sons. I had shutters installed in May of 2021. I had 9 windows that needed shutters after I had all my windows replaced. I contacted about 5 contractors for estimates. Ron was the 5th contractor that came over to the house. Ron was very casual and professional and listened to what I wanted, not what he wanted to do. That really caught my attention. So I told him what my game plan was and after that I asked him, what would you recommendation? He took his time going over everything and what he thought was best for the set up I wanted. He took his time measuring every window and after he finished, he informed me that the estimate would follow very soon. After receiving the estimate, I locked everything in. Install started a few weeks later and was very impressed on how fast they got all 9 windows done. Very quick, professional and they cleaned up very well after themselves. No trace of anything being installed. I'm completely happy with the shutters I purchased and would definitely recommend Ron to any family or friends that are searching for shutters or other window coverings.

We've worked with Ron and his son twice already- once in our previous home and now in our new home. Obviously I wouldn't work with them again unless I had a great experience the first time! Both times Ron was very communicative and friendly. Our shutters were installed with a quick turn around time both times and have held up well with no issues! We also had them install automatic rolling shades(I think that's what they are called) on our sliding glass door and it has been great with keeping out the heat/sun in the mornings! Cleaning the shutters are super easy because you can take the shutters off the hinge and clean them! Definitely recommend them for window coverings!

Ron brought fabulous choices and it took a little time to get fabric. BUT his fabricator was a disaster. She cut the family room short by nearly 5 inches. The drapes were SUPPOSE to be floor to ceiling but they are short. The living room. Same issue but only by a few inches and we're able to shorten hem and top so and they adjusted. Then the fabricator had the audacity to charge Ron for their mistake.
The pleat pressing is still an issue. I have steamed and clipped in place but I think I'm going to have to drag out the iron and board and try to fix.

I did a lot of shopping around to my dismay a lot of service providers claimed it took six weeks to make my window shutters, additionally their prices were too high. Six to eight week delivery equates to manufacturing in China.
After getting a referral endorsing Rom Allen &Son, I received a very competitive quote and beautiful high quality indoor shutters installed in three weeks. The product is made in San Diego. I give an enthusiastic endorsement of Rom Allen and Son!!!!!

We used this service to install shades in our main office on Garnet in PB! Ron and his son installed the shades in less than one business day and working with Ron was a dream. He came on-site as often as needed, was flexible, but we ultimately decided to go with their business solely based on my initial pitch with him because of how friendly and welcoming Ron was. Both Ron and Brett are great at what they do. Ron was very thoughtful with how he guided our conversation on what to purchase. He even came out twice to make sure his recommendation was appropriate for my place. After a few weeks, his son Brett came out for the installation and what a great guy he is. My wife and I enjoyed getting our shades installed, but enjoyed Brett's conversation just as much.
The product was fantastic and well priced. But more importantly, both Ron and Brett are just great people.
