Always something different and new, coming through our doors. This is a Zebra hide that has sustained damage. Customer wanted us to clean and secure the torn, opened and missing hide, to the tail and body. Pictures are of before, during and after restoration.
Antique silk chair, with water staining, soil and deterioration of silk fabric on arms. Challenge was to clean and remove staining without causing further damage to weak silk. Sequoia, took that challenge and the client can enjoy their chair for years to come.
