Utility crews in Snohomish County replaced this power pole after a customer called to report "a bird causing damage" to it. They say they're not sure how long the woodpecker was working on it...but our guess is quite awhile.
Found a fire in the wall this morning. Most likely due to the original installer (decades ago?) not tightening the wire connections properly.
Usually I find this sort of thing AFTER the impending fire.
